Wildfilms at the Giving Tree @ Tampines

Evil things are said to come in threes.

First, as I was doing the final touches to the presentation on the Mac, my Windows PC decides it needs a reboot after being updated. It never woke up again. Thankfully, I had a spare PC standing by which decided that it too would like to misbehave. So. I had to spend the whole night into the afternoon on Saturday tinkering with settings, transferring my data from the drives in the old carcass into the new body.

Next, once I reached Tampines and give Siva of the RMBR Toddycats our presentation, they don't have the plug to attach the iBook to the projector and have to go run and buy the connector. And in the end the iBook decided that it would play the quicktime as a slideshow with music instead.

Looks like all these events, and some others as well, are conspiring to make me take the plunge and purchase a laptop. One day. Sooner or later.

Anyhow, the clip has now been reencoded into DVD format, and those who want to watch it can go to the repeat performance tomorrow... Later today, rather. It SHOULD work this time....

Also, this clip will be used to launch our video podcasts. Look out for them on this blog starting in January, with new episodes either on a weekly or fortnightly schedule.

So. If you don't see the clip tomorrow, you can download a low-res clip for your iPod about two weeks after. Or. You could wait till Siva tries this thing in NUS.
